Privacy Policy

1. QUIT PORN. QUIT PORN is a community for people who want to break free from pornography.

2. What we collect

  • Account: display name, email address, and password. The password is stored in protected (encrypted) form, and no one, including us, can read it.
  • Challenge: join date, start date of your current streak, longest streak, your “Still Clean” records, and your relapse reports (with the date).
  • My Diary: when you report a relapse, the date, how many days you had, and your answers to two optional questions (what led you to relapse, and what you will do about it). You can edit or delete each entry.
  • Technical: a session cookie that keeps you logged in, and records of login attempts and of the emails we send.

3. What is public and what is not

  • Public, from Day 1: display name, join date, current streak, longest streak, and badges.
  • Never public: email address, password, and the history of check-ins and relapses. At 0 days, only you can see your row.
  • My Diary is private: only you can read it. Nobody else can, not the moderators and not the site owner: the site has no screen or tool to read it. It is deleted with your account.
  • We recommend using a display name that does not reveal your identity.

4. What we use it for. To create your account, calculate your streak, award badges, show the participants list, and send program emails: email verification, congratulations at each milestone, and a supportive message after a relapse.

5. Who we share it with. Only with services that make the site work: hosting and database (Cloudflare) and email delivery (Resend). We do not sell data and we do not use ads. The site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which sends your IP address to Google.

6. Cookies. We only use the session cookie needed for login. It lasts 30 days and is removed when you log out. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

7. How long we keep it. For as long as your account exists. When you request deletion, your account is hidden and permanently deleted after 7 days, and you can cancel during that time. After that, we remove your data, except what we are required to keep by law.

8. Security. We protect data with reasonable technical measures, but no system is 100% secure.

9. International transfer. The services above may process data outside your country.

10. Changes. We may update this policy and we will let you know on the site.
